Fancy Friday: Cookies, Shorts and more

As a Social Media Manager, I spend hours on end scouring the web and falling in love with so many different things that I come across. Sometimes these 'things' don't fit into any category but are uniquely wonderful on their own. Whether it's a beautiful design, a cool product or a website that is worthy of sharing, Fancy Friday is a weekly round-up of those 'things' I fancy.

1) Nutella Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies: How delicious do these look? Mmm Mmm Good! Love cookies? Check this out.
2) Fiver Butter Nail Polish: Loving this colour for summer and guess what? I'm wearing it right now! Minty fresh.
3) Side Slits Crepe Shorts: I love wearing white shorts during the summer, they are light and match just about anything! These high waisted ones are super cute and give it a more formal and stylish flair. 
4) Drinkwell 360 Pet Fountain: It's summertime which means staying hydrated is super important for you and your pet. How fun is this fountain? My dog would be so excited to drink from it.
5) H:M:S Clock: This clock by Progetti has a really creative way of showing you the time. Plus, I'm loving the black and white look. See more cool clocks, here. 
6) Sodastream: Love sparkling water? This machine turns any drink into a carbonated one!
7) Built-In Coffee System: Calling all coffee lovers! Ever dream of having a built-in coffee machine? This actually exists...BUT don't get too excited, it's a whopping $4,100...yikes!

1) Mr. & Mrs. Stamp: Add a personal touch to all your correspondence with this Mr. & Mrs. Self-Inking Personalized Address Stamper. Love the design, super cute!

2) Don't Ask Candles: Who's counting anyways?

3) Tab Notebooks: Stay organized with these tab notebooks. The inside papers are even colour coded; pink, blue, yellow, and green.

4) Bottle Opener: The perfect word to match that sound when opening a bottle. PSSHHH!

5) Melon Stik: Mmm I love a juicy watermelon in the summer! This awesome gadget allows you to enjoy it without getting sticky fingers. Simply twist in, pull out, devour, and repeat! Instagram Introduces: V I D E O

Over the past two and a half years, Instagram has become one of the most popular applications to share beautiful pictures. Some moments, however, need a little more than a static image to come to life. Today, Instagram has introduced V I D E O.. a whole new way to share your stories. It works similarly to Vine where you must 'hold to record' but what's even better, is the ability to add filters to your video...Instagram style.

I'm so excited about the new addition and can't wait to start using it. The videos are also 15 seconds vs Vine's 6 seconds...much better. Sorry Vine, we're through. Follow me on Instagram, here.

Let's Stay Home

...because there's no place like it.

I love going out, but over the past few years I've really just accepted that I'm a bit of a homebody. I strongly believe that everything in life should be done in moderation so staying home all the time is definitely not a healthy choice, but it's O K A Y to enjoy it! Sometimes I find I have to push myself to go out and I'll be happy I did...but other times I'd really rather stay home and be cozy! Do you prefer a nice evening at home over going out? Do you ever feel guilty for being a bit of a homebody? 

If you're sometimes a little unsure that your choice to be a homebody is not mainstream enough or you feel a little defensive about preferring a cozy night-in to a night-on-the-town, it's time to reclaim a little pride in your homebody status!

Life Lately: According to my iPhone

'Life Lately: According to my iPhone' is a series that allows me to share what I've been up to and give you guys a little more insight into my personal life. Most of these end up on my Instagram, so if you'd like to follow along/see more, you can follow me here. 

 Although the weather has been hot & cold lately, it still feels like summer has arrived! Blue skies, beautiful flowers all around, and lots of fun activities. My favourite thing has been going for long walks outside. It's such a pleasure when it's warm out...I could walk for hours! This past weekend I had an engagement party so it was nice to dress up, be with friends and sip on cocktails :)

Fancy Friday: Nails, Swizzles and more

As a Social Media Manager, I spend hours on end scouring the web and falling in love with so many different things that I come across. Sometimes these 'things' don't fit into any category but are uniquely wonderful on their own. Whether it's a beautiful design, a cool product or a website that is worthy of sharing, Fancy Friday is a weekly round-up of those 'things' I fancy.

Here we go:

1) Key-Key Fob: Who wants another key on their keychain, right? Well, maybe if it was this particular beautiful leather key, laser cut and hand painted/stained. Love the gold!

2) Chef n' Panini Spatula: Designed for the hot-off-the-press panini, this tool is perfect for lifting and slicing your delicious sandwich.

3) Ceramic Letter Dish: A fun way to decorate and serve chocolates or candies at the same time. Looove this idea, I need to start entertaining more often!

4) Coffee Message: Sprinkle a message in your coffee using chocolate or cinnamon. This stencil comes with: "I'm Pregnant, Mines a Latte, Drink Me, and I'm Hot". Not crazy about the choices, there should be "Good Morning, Hi Baby, Wakey Wakey, and Made With Love"...got any other ideas?

5) Wear Your Heart On Your Nails: Base coat is Ballet Slippers (Essie). Pretty & Feminine.

6) Geometric Swizzle Sticks: Add a pop of colour and pizazz to your party using cocktail swizzle sticks. Made of bright colour card stock with a glitter facet attached to a bamboo skewer.

7) Mint Green Bracket Bookends: Organize your bookshelf with these clean and stylish bookends. I'm loving the modern and minimalistic design...and that fresh mint colour? Ouu la la!

8) Compushade: Love being on your computer outside? Hate having that screen glare from the sun? Finally, a solution! As weird as it looks, the idea is genius! Gotta get my hands on this.
