    2. Good words indeed...It never gets easier to help an old dog be released from his/her pain.I just lost my 14 yr old LAB-he could no longer get up from his bed and was in great pain. I held his head and kissed his face saying I Love you as the needle was slipped in. He sighed deeply as if in relief. He was my very best faithful friend for many years. I will miss him forever. But I do know that I gave him the best life and times I could and he was always a gentle happy soul.I feel his sweet spirit still.

  5. my 16 1/2 yr old Mindy looked exactly like the pic of Jesse, and I had to release her June 2014. I feel exactly as you said here, I will love her always and miss her sweet and gentleness. She was the best dog anyone could ever hope for.
